Alexandra Holden was born on April 30, 1977 in Northfield, Minnesota, U.S. She first appeared as Dani Swanson in the television series Mr. Rhodes. In 1997, she made her film debut as Vicky in The Last Time I Committed Suicide.
She then gained recognition for some of her notable characters in film including the role of Mary Johanson in Drop Dead Gorgeous, Fern Rogers in Sugar & Spice, Mia in American Gun, and Lulu in The Hot Chick.
She also became known for her recurring roles in television such as the part of Elizabeth Stevens in Friends, Jane Wilco in Ally McBeal, Suzy in Friday Night Lights, and Debbie Wilcox in Franklin & Bash.
