Bob Beckel, an American Democratic political strategist, commentator, and political analyst, has died. He passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 73.
Beckel was a former Fox News pundit who previously co-hosted The Five on Fox News until he was released in 2015 after being gone for several months recovering from back surgery.
He left Fox News in 2015 and went on to work as a CNN contributor.
However, he returned to Fox News as a co-host of The Five on January 16, 2017.

The cause of Helen Paiba’s death has yet to be determined, but fellow political commentator Cal Thomas reported Beckel’s death on Monday evening in a Facebook post.
“My buddy and spiritual brother, Bob Beckel, has passed into the presence of the Lord he loved,” Thomas wrote, as reported by Mediaite.com.
On May 19, 2017, Fox News stated that Beckel had been released after being accused of making a racial statement against another Fox News employee.
“We did so many things together, and I think we exemplified what two individuals of opposing political ideologies can be when they love one another.” We wrote the ‘Common Ground’ column for USA Today and a book with the same title for ten years.
“His unfortunately titled memoirs is titled ‘I Should Be Dead.'” It’s a very readable book about a challenging existence that has altered tremendously in the previous 15 years. Bob, I’ll see you shortly. “You are adored,” the post continued.
