It is with deep regret that I must let you know that Class of 2018 student Brian Schieweck died away earlier today.
My relationship with him was really cordial. I am writing to express my regret at having to inform you of his passing and to share the news with you.
He participated in the high school varsity team. Everyone on the team thought of him as a close friend, and they respected him since he was the most powerful figure of authority among them. We ask that you pray not only for him but also for the people in his life who are significant to him as well as the friends he has. In addition to that, I want to ask you to pray for the people who are surrounding him right now. When you sign up to be a member of the Big Red, regardless matter how long you live after you do so, you will always be considered to be a part of the team.
This remains the case even if you pass away many years after becoming a member. During this trying time, we ask that you keep the Schieweck family in your thoughts and prayers, and that you offer them your most heartfelt condolences as well as your support. Thank you. Today is a day to honor the life of the former team captain who graduated the year before, 2018, and to appreciate the leadership that he displayed during his career.
