A fatal pedestrian crash in Montgomery County has been reported, with Caesar Adigwe Jr., 36, being fatally struck by a Nissan. The accident occurred on Interstate 270, near Old Georgetown Road, and the driver, Aaliyah Brown, 22, remained on the scene.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the investigation, which will be submitted to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office for charges. The crash was briefly closed for the investigation, and personnel from the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration and the Montgomery County Fire Department assisted with road detours. The investigation is currently active and ongoing.
