Carlos Alberto Arroyo Bermdez (born July 30, 1979) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball point guard for the Turkish Basketball League’s Galatasaray Liv Hospital (TBL). Arroyo formerly played for the Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association. He won the Israeli Basketball Super League title and was voted the Final’s Most Valuable Player in the 2008–2009 season while playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He’s also worked as a professional musician in Puerto Rico and Spain. Arroyo was a part of the Puerto Rican national basketball team that won the 2004 Olympic Basketball Tournament against the United States. He also competed in the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan for Puerto Rico.
