Cassandra Rose Marino’s obituary
Cassandra Marino Rose

At the age of 19, Cassandra Rose Marino tragically departed away in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The daughter of Matthew and Angela (née Bruzdzinski) Marino, Cassie was born on July 11, 2003 in Naperville, Illinois.

She attended Minooka High School after growing up in Minooka and Plainfield. After graduating from high school, Cassie was enrolled in Western Michigan University, where she was majoring in Business and Marketing and a devoted Delta Zeta Sorority member.

Cassie was taking advantage of her time with her sorority sisters and new friends while attending college.

The ability to spend time with her favorite thing in the world, her family, was frequently what motivated her to return home.

She virtually always asked her parents for a picture of Doug while she was at school. She cherished shooting pictures, practicing her photography skills, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones. Only her outgoing demeanor could rival her stunning smile.

She adored making plans for the great things that lay ahead and had high expectations for herself. She was tenacious, self-reliant, charming, humorous, and devoted. Knowing her was to love her because she was truly unique. All who knew and loved Cassie will miss her.

Her parents, older brother Matthew (Elizabeth) Marino, younger sister Maggie Marino, paternal grandparents George and Linda Marino and Joe and Mary Bruzdzinski, as well as her aunts and uncles Mike (Carol) Marino and Dan (Courtney) Marino, survive Cassie.
