Hayye Yartey has revealed one great thing Christian Atsu when he passed his trails at FC Porto.

The football administrator who discovered Christian Atsu, Hayye Yartey has recounted one of the many good deeds of the footballer.

The owner of Cheetah FC, the childhood club of Christian Atsu said when the footballer passed his trials at FC Porto and got signed by the Portuguese giants, he didn’t use his first salary which was €800.

Instead he sent the entire €800 to him in Ghana with a plea that he should give the money to the church.

The church in question was close to the training ground of Cheetah FC.

Atsu further went on to give his stipend to the club for the next three months after the first. This was a church close to his training pitch back at Cheetah FC. A place where he could find solace when things got tough.
