Tragically, on June 10, 2023, Dennis Mallen, an accomplished an accomplished actor and film producer, lost his life.
He suffered fatal injuries in a car accident on State Route 64 in Hardee County, Florida.
According to a tribute shared on Facebook by Marc Bashoor of Bowie, Maryland, Dennis was known to emphasize the values of respect, punctuality, professionalism, and navigating the intricacies of the performing arts community. Bashoor credited Dennis with providing invaluable support during his early experiences in the acting industry.
The news of Dennis’s untimely passing was communicated through a post in the Sebring International Filmmakers Group (SIFG) on Facebook. An administrator of the group shared the following comment:
“As one of the group administrators, it is with deep sadness that I inform those who may be unaware that actor Dennis Mallen passed away early this morning due to a car accident.
During this challenging time, I kindly request that you take a moment to offer prayers or send positive thoughts to his family, who are grieving his loss. Dennis was a remarkable individual who possessed extensive knowledge, and many of us greatly admired him.
Although my acquaintance with Dennis was relatively brief, spanning only 16 months, I am confident that he would want this group to continue prospering. May Dennis Mallen rest in peace.”
