BET is keeping the fireworks going this summer, bringing Tyler Perry’s The Oval back for the second half of Season 2 on Tuesday, July 20 (9/8c), TVLine has learned exclusively. The midseason premiere will air on BET and BET Her.

In August 2020, 11 months after the launch, Deadline reported that BET Plus has reached one million subscribers. How much does the service cost? BET Plus costs $9.99 a month.
AMC Networks Formerly known as the Urban Movie Channel, ALLBLK is the closest thing to a true rival for BET Plus. It also offers a mix of older and more recent movies and TV shows directly aimed at the black audience. It also has a growing number of original scripted and non-scripted programming as well.

Tyler Perry’s The Oval will kick off its 22-episode second season on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 10:30/9:30c, TVLine has learned. This will follow the television debut of Madea’s Farewell Play, which airs at 8 pm that evening.
The series is executive-produced, directed and written by Perry; Michelle Sneed is also an EP for Tyler Perry Studios.
