Donald Fox, a resident of Holtwood who was 55 years old when he passed away, was identified as having passed away at the Lancaster General Hospital on the Thursday, February 23, 2023, by the medical staff working there.
His paternal grandfather, Donald Fox, was from Akron, and his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Simmons Gehman, was from Ephrata. He was named after his paternal grandfather. He was his parents’ son. That is the location of the man’s birthplace. He attended the services of The Church of Holtwood on a regular basis and was a frequent guest there.
Donald ran his painting company as a sole entrepreneur and painted throughout his entire life. Painting was a lifelong pastime for Donald. He indulged in two of his most beloved pastimes—going fishing and working on model cars—when he had some free time on his hands. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, two grandchildren, and three siblings. His parents passed away before he was born. Before he was born, both of his parents had passed away. His children are Cody Fox, who resides in Glen Rock, Carly Rodriguez, who resides in Lititz, and Zachary, who is married to Krystal Fox of Campbelltown and lives in the suburb of Campbelltown.
Tracey Fox, who lives in Ephrata, Tammy Martin, who is married to Rodney Martin in Georgia, and James Gehman, who is married to Michelle Gehman in Bowmansville, are his siblings. James Gehman is married to Michelle Gehman.
The funeral service will take place on the first Wednesday of March at ten in the morning at the Rawlinsville Mennonite Church, which is located in Holtwood at 838 Susquehannock Drive. The date and time of the service have not yet been determined. A viewing will be held at the church beginning at nine in the morning and continuing right up until the time of the ceremony.
