Notorious California Serial Killer Douglas Daniel Clark Passes Away from Natural Causes
It has been reported that Douglas Daniel Clark, a convicted serial killer in California, who had been sentenced to death for his involvement in a gruesome series of six murders during the early 1980s, has passed away from natural causes. He was 75 years old.
Douglas Daniel Clark, one of the most infamous figures in the annals of California’s criminal history, was held at the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center until his demise, which occurred on Wednesday at an external medical facility, as confirmed by an official statement from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Douglas Daniel Clark and his accomplice, Carol Bundy, gained notoriety as the “Sunset Strip Killers” due to their involvement in a chilling series of murders that terrorized the Los Angeles area, commencing in 1980. Their victims included teenage girls and female sex workers.
Clark faced a litany of charges, including murder, attempted murder, and the disturbing crime of sexual contact with human remains. The Marin County Coroner’s office is set to conduct an official examination to determine the precise cause of Clark’s passing.
It is worth noting that Carol Bundy, Clark’s accomplice, met her own demise in 2003 while incarcerated at the Central California Women’s Facility.
