Casey M. Pierce, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He completed a specialized fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Dr. James Andrews’ renowned fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. While there, he trained in the most cutting edge techniques to treat cartilage, tendon, and ligament disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. In addition, Dr. Pierce received specialized training in the treatment of hip and pelvis injuries as well as hip arthroscopy and sports hernia surgery.

Dr. Pierce returned to New Jersey in 2018 to begin private practice and is proud to be the head team physician for Montclair State University as well as the Sussex Miners minor league baseball team. Dr. Pierce also cares for over 16 local area high school teams as well as the surrounding community.

Dr. Pierce specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, hip and knee disorders. He has been trained in the most up-to-date techniques in arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures, techniques which are designed to hasten recovery times for both adult and pediatric patients for both athletes and non-athletes. Dr. Pierce also takes pride in managing injuries non-operatively whenever treatment allows for conservative management. He performs ultrasound guided PRP and stem cell injections to aid in the treatment of many conditions. In addition, Dr. Pierce is certified to perform robotic-assisted hip and knee joint replacements utilizing the Mako™ robot.
