Dr. Daniel Weingold is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He is a member of OrthoVirginia, where he serves on the Quality Management Committee. He has offices in Burke and Springfield, VA. Dr. Weingold specializes in shoulder and knee surgery. He is affiliated Inova Alexandria Hospital, and has been a previous Chief of the Orthopedic Department. He also operates at the OrthoVirginia Herndon Operatory and the Potomac View Surgery Center. He received his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1991 and did his Orthopedic residency at GW, finishing in 1996. He is experienced in sports medicine, including meniscus tears, anterior cruciate ligament injuries, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder instability, and performs a variety of arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery. He also performs partial and total knee replacements. Dr Weingold also treats fractures and some pediatric patients conditions. He speaks Spanish. He is a team physician for two Fairfax County high schools. He is the medical consultant for the Alexandria Soccer Association adult league. He will be a consultant and provide for the Gunston Recreational and Travel soccer association.
