Dr.Valenzuela was recently named Director of Penile Prosthesis Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital heis a Board Certified urologist in New York City. Formerly a member of the Department of Urology at NY-Presbyterian Hospital. He specializes in the treatment and management of sexual dysfunction, including the surgical management of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, premature ejaculation, and male urinary incontinence. He is one of the most prolific implanters of penile prostheses, artificial urinary sphincters and male slings in the Northeast region. He specializes in the surgical treatment of BPH using minimally invasive procedures, including Urolift and Rezume.
Dr. Valenzuela trains urology residents and also provides expertise and training to physicians, nationally and internationally, on his unique surgical techniques for inflatable penile prostheses insertion, male slings, Artificial Urinary Sphincters, Urolift procedures, as well as, the management of complex prosthetic cases.

He has developed the "sc-IPP," (subcoronal-Inflatable of Penile Prosthesis Insertion) and the "MoST" (Modified Sliding Technique) which are the only length preservation approach for penile prosthesis insertion as well as the Mini Male Sling (MMS) for the treatment of mild SUI and Climacturia.

Dr. Valenzuela is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, a member of the American Urological Association, the Hispanic Medical Association, the Dominican Medical Association, Sexual Medicine Society and the International Society for Sexual Medicine.
He is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his urology training at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
