Emilio Rivera is an American actor. He first debuted in 1992, appearing in an episode of Renegade. In the movies, his first role was in 1995’s My Family. The rest of the ’90s and early 2000s were spent playing one-time and recurring roles on television. His breakthrough role happened in 2008, starring Marcus Alvarez in FX’s Sons of Anarchy. He starred on the show until it ended in 2014. He also had performances in the films Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Bruce Almighty, Collateral, and Street Kings, among others. More recently, he reprised his role as Marcus Alvarez in the Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans M.C., which has been airing since 2018.
