In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children from his first marriage, Brian Kohn, Steven Kohn, and Laurie Parkinson; his stepchildren, Alexandra, Charles, and Melinda Dubow; seven grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. He spent the winters in Montecito and the rest of the time at homes in Manhattan and Washington, Conn.
