Actress Florence Pugh’s distinctive voice is a result of a rare medical ailment called tracheomalacia.
Pugh spoke about the ailment in an interview with Vogue in January 2020 and revealed that she had health problems as a youngster, which led her family to relocate from Oxford to Spain because they believed the country’s environment would be better for her health.

The family’s trip to Spain helped Pugh’s symptoms go better after it was determined that she had tracheomalacia, which is defined as “her trachea partly collapses after she breathes.”
