GoFundMe; Kelsey Mayer Died in Car Accident, Keene State women’s Soccer Player

One of the teens from Concord involved with a collision in Stoddard has died from injuries sustained in the crash on Thursday.

Kelsey Mayer, 18, of Concord, who graduated from Concord High School last year and was attending Keene State College, was driving a Chevrolet Cruze when it crashed into a logging truck on Route 9 at the highway’s intersection with Route 123 at just before 5 a.m. She was taken to Concord Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to injuries.

A second teenager, Allison Yanski, 19, who is a sophomore at KSC, was also injured in the crash. She was taken to Cheshire Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries, state police said.

Concord High School had counselors available to students in classes on Friday after hearing about the accident.
