Christine McVie, the composer responsible for some of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits, passed away on Wednesday following a brief illness, according to her family.
According to a statement her family made on her verified Instagram account, Christine McVie, the singer-songwriter responsible for some of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits, passed away on November 30 following a brief illness.
She had a 79-year-old age.
Encouraged to pursue her career further, McVie created the solo album Christine Perfect, which was later published as The Legendary Christine Perfect Album thanks to her popularity as a member of Fleetwood Mac. She became a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1970 after being married to bassist John McVie.
