Marvin Darnell Harrison Jr., a wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes in American football, was born on August 11, 2002.
After seeing little action in 2021, Harrison would break out as a standout in 2022, earning the titles of Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year and unanimous All-American. He is the son of wide receiver Marvin Harrison, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
How did Marvin Harrison get hurt?
Concussion forced Marvin Harrison Jr., a great receiver for Ohio State, to leave Saturday’s defeat to Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Harrison was placed in the concussion protocol, according to Ohio State’s head coach Ryan Day, after being severely struck in the end zone by Georgia defensive back Javon Bullard with little over a minute remaining in the third quarter. He stayed on the Ohio State bench while being inspected by the medical personnel, but he did not come back into the game.
Bullard was first given a targeting penalty by the referees, but the ruling was later reversed.
