Ilya Ilech Bosovik Tragically Dies in a Fatal Clackamas County Hit-and-Run Accident

Clackamas, Oregon (October 13, 2023) – A devastating incident unfolded in Clackamas on Thursday morning, resulting in the loss of 24-year-old Ilya Ilech Bosovik, a resident of Clackamas. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office reports on the heart-wrenching details of this tragic event.

The collision occurred on Southeast Jennifer Street near Southeast Evelyn Street shortly after 8 a.m. on October 12.

As the report reveals, Bosovik was operating a Kia Spectra when it collided head-on with a Subaru Forester driven by 81-year-old Carol Marie Day Bordeaux from Oregon City.

Bosovik was promptly transported to a hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased.

Bordeaux, who sustained serious injuries, was also hospitalized as a result of the accident.

Tragically, the report suggests that Bordeaux may have been driving while intoxicated during the incident. Furthermore, it is believed that she was the driver who fled the scene after causing harm to a child’s feet while the child was waiting for a bus in the vicinity of Southeast 82nd Drive at 8 a.m.
