This fan proposed Jamie’s mother could have been related to John, potentially making Jamie his nephew and related to the Duttons by blood after all. Moreover, she could have been related to John’s late wife Evelyn (Gretchen Mol), who was shown to have been crushed by a horse during a tragic flashback in the first season.
