Due to recent charges regarding his alleged behavior at home, Jeremy Renner is currently the subject of controversy and is making headlines everywhere.
Renner has, though, faced criticism before. The actor who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe appears to have garnered notoriety for particular actions and statements.
The most current scandal surrounding Renner involves his ex-wife, with whom he is disputing custody of their daughter. According to documents obtained by ET Online, Sonni Pacheco said Renner threatened to kill her and put a gun in his mouth.
Additionally, she claimed that he shot their daughter Ava while she slept in her bedroom.

The court documents further claim that Renner mentioned killing Pacheco while “intoxicated from cocaine and alcohol” and at a club. There are claims that the nanny overheard Renner discussing killing Pacheco as well.
Renner said it was a joke after fans accused him of slut-shaming Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson).
The initial remarks were made in 2015 during a press junket interview he and Marvel co-star Chris Evans gave. They received flak for calling the protagonist a “slut” and a “complete whore.”
Renner attributed this to his feelings at the moment over Hawkeye’s portrayal. “And I’m still not even sure who Hawkeye was at that point. So I’m a little frustrated because I was so excited to figure out who Hawkeye was.”
For the sake of Renner’s kid, let’s hope the legal battle between her mother and father is successful.
