Unfortunately for fans of Jessica Paré’s CIA vet Mandy Ellis, the actress exited SEAL Team as a series regular moving forward, with Mandy having formally announced her own exit to David Boreanaz’s Jason. We now have a better idea of the reason behind that character beat, as well as a hint of how Paré is returning in the future.

In Other Lives Mandy joins the team on a mission to prove the syrian goverment experimenting with a deadly nerve agent. There she helps Lisa Davis and Eric Blackburn to exfiltrate the team and a group of survivors.
In Tip of the Spear Mandy accompanies the Team surrounding Jason Hayes to Liberia in order to catch ISL commander Abu Samir Al Masri. However it turns out that Al-Masri also has a hostage and the objective is switched to ensuring the hostages safety. Due to Mandy’s insistance to also catch Al-Masri, Hayes suggests they do both.
The first three weeks are silent, much to everyone’s annoyance. Weeks later, Lisa and Mandy try to convince the local food shop they all eat at to go undercover as a spy for them, to find out who the new terrorist group is. When he declines, Mandy threatens to provoke his license on the base.
The embassies is soon under attack, with Bravo still trapped outside. Once they make it, they attempt their first escape, but are stopped when they are hit with missiles. After a shootout in this street they all escape on a bus. Mandy is surprised to run into Jason at the bar drinking his worries away.
After finding this out, Mandy is worried he might have a target on him, after Reiss Julian didn’t thoroughly question him to keep up appearances. Mandy spends the next couple of days trying to get in contact with them, only to find out he was murdered at the market place.
