Police said EMS pronounced her dead at the scene and that the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
Ms Trump married the former president in 1977, after being born in what is now the Czech Republic. They divorced in 1992, 15 years later.
Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump were their three children.
In the 1980s and 1990s, the couple were well-known public figures in New York, and their divorce was widely publicized.
Ms Trump went on to launch her own lines of beauty products, clothing, and jewelry after they divorced.
In her 2017 memoir, she claimed responsibility for raising their children.
