Originally from Paterson, New Jersey, Justin Smith (born January 8, 1978), best known by his stage name Just Blaze, is an American hip hop record producer. Blaze also serves as the President and CEO of Fort Knocks Entertainment. He is most recognised for his work on Jay-albums Z’s The Blueprint, The Blueprint 2, and The Black Album, on which he produced tracks for the rapper. His production may also be heard on Eminem’s 2010 album Recovery, which was also produced by him. Blaze makes an appearance in the music video for the third song from Recovery, “No Love,” which he also produced and directed.
