Biography:
Kristen Johnston was born on September 20, 1967 in Washington, D.C. She made her professional stage debut with the Atlantic Theater Company in New York. During her involvement with the company, she has performed in the productions of As You Like It and Stage Door.
She then made her television debut with an episode of the series Chicago Hope in 1994. From 1996 to 2001, she gained recognition for her portrayal of Sally Solomon in 3rd Rock from the Sun.
For her performance, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series twice in 1997 and 1999. She currently stars as Holly Franklin in The Exes.
