Sir Michael Parkinson was an English television presenter, broadcaster, journalist and author who has a 50-year career interviewing the biggest stars. He was the son of Jack Parkinson and Freda Rose Parkinson. He was born to his parents on March 28, 1935, in Cudworth, United Kingdom but sadly passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 88.
He presented his television talk show Parkinson from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and internationally.
He was a married man at the time of his death. He was happily married to British journalist and television presenter, Mary Ann, Lady Parkinson. The two were happily married from 1959 until his death in August 2023.
