When Anthony Chris Haynes, 58, went missing from Louisville on Wednesday, deputies were looking for him.
Haynes’ body was recovered from Little River by crews from the Blount Special Operations Response Team and the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad, according to officials.
Haynes’ remains were transported to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center, where an autopsy will be performed soon, according to a release.

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office announced on Facebook around 12:45 p.m. on Friday that Anthony Chris Haynes, 58, of Clinton, had been found and was deceased.
According to the post, his body was discovered in the Little River, and his remains were transported to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center for an autopsy.
