DeKalb police want your assistance in finding a mother and her infant who vanished on Saturday.

Junia Mayfield, 15, and her 1-year-old daughter, Amori, were last seen leaving their Decatur, Georgia, house on Lark Lane.

The 15-year-mother, old’s Keshia Mayfield, was interviewed by Tyisha Fernandes of Channel 2 in DeKalb County, where the two were last seen.

Mayfield was staying with her daughter at her mother’s house on Lark Lane.

For four days, Mayfield’s mother has been looking for her daughter and grandchild.

I haven’t seen her since I went to sleep and woke up to find that she had left. 4:18 She did bring her child, my granddaughter, with her, but I haven’t seen either of them, heard from them, or spoken to them.

According to Mayfield, she can’t picture her daughter going missing for this long without at the very least informing her family that she is fine.

“I’m hoping she’s safe, but I don’t know – I don’t know who she’s with, I don’t know who she wound up around – I don’t know anything,” said Mayfield. “I’m just trying to get my daughter and my granddaughter safely home.”

Junia weighs 130 pounds and stands at 5’6″.

You can reach DeKalb police at 770-724-7710 if you see Junia or Amori.
