Fardereen Deonta Grier is the 30-year-old nephew of rapper Young Thug.
A source close to the rapper verified to TMZ that he is the son of Young Thug’s older sister.
At the moment, nothing is known about Grier.
Grier was detained and brought into police custody on Wednesday, July 6, after detectives responded to a complaint at a property outside Atlanta, according to TMZ.
Young Thug was charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of engaging in criminal street gang activities just months ago.
