Dr. Winslow is MedStar’s Regional Chief of Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery and a board-certified surgeon who specializes in the treatment of cancer of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts, as well as benign conditions that affect these organs. She is an experienced surgeon and performs minimally invasive and open surgery of the liver, biliary tree, and pancreas.

She earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Winslow completed residency in general surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and a fellowship in transplant surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Investigation at the University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Winslow emphasizes the importance of sharing decision making about treatment with her patients. She takes a wholistic, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, helps patients understand their treatment options, and works to get to know her patients and their families so that she can tailor treatment to their preferences.

Dr. Winslow and her husband are the parents of two young children. When she’s not at work, she enjoys running and outdoor activities.
