Mike Mineer Car Accident UNC Chapel Hill – What Happened To Mike Mineer, Cause Of Death Officer Mike Mineer a 19-year veteran of the Chapel Hill Police Department, most recently serving in the Patrol division has died due to the severe injuries he suffered from a deadly car crash recently.

We learnt about the news from the message of chief Celisa Lehew today Tuesday, May 9, 2023, that was posted on the Chapel Hill Police Department Facebook page.

According to the message, chief Celisa Lehew said: “We are mourning the loss of one of our Guardians of the Hill. Yesterday, Officer Mike Mineer died in a vehicle crash in Chatham County.”
